These could be from the Madame Alexander dolls. Some are very expensive

This looks like some of the Madame Alexander dolls that I have seen online. I know there are many website for doll collectors and they are always so helpful. Since you have all the paper work they can normally ID the doll so quickly.

I would check a few doll forums online to verify if the doll is really part of this collection or not.

It looks like it says Marie Powell.

My best guess as to what you have is an art doll that Marie Powell (who may or may not be a famous person) made, probably in a class or a studio. This was a very common thing to do from the 1970s through the 2000s.

She is quite lovely.

The name is very common so my research is coming up empty if she was someone famous or not.

I can do a little more digging, but I am guessing she is not someone famous.

These dolls sell, sometimes, in the range of $10-$30 dollars. Interestingly enough, in most cases the clothing and accessories fetch much more than the doll and deconstructed kit dolls often sell for parts--like someone will buy a head, the arms, the legs etc.

This is a new thing I am just learning about in my doll studies.

I will keep researching, but if you learn something first, please post back! Thanks for sharing!
