It stands for Home and Garden Party. Dolls were sold at home parties just like tupperware. They are mass produced and found at thrift stores all over. They are not worth much.

I see a lot of dolls listed as HJG Inc. I sold dolls for years and this brand does not sound familiar to me so I am not sure what the HJG stands for and there is nothing I can find on this brand in my doll resources to help you date it. Maybe one of the other posters can help with that.

In looking at auctions there are few if any that sell and if they do sell, it is for under $10. Sad. She is very cute!!

Here is the company that made the doll but it is no longer carrying this line of dolls or any dolls right now. www.angelfire.com/.../catalog.html. This is a brand logo for the company that hosts parties in peoples home to sell different items. Your doll is one that the company mass produced for sale. The value of the doll is under $15.
