Identifying a Porcelain Doll?

Identifying a Porcelain Doll - doll wearing a long red coat style dress with white fur trimMy grandma recently passed and left me this doll so I'm just trying to determine who she is. She is 22" tall w/brown curly hair. Her body isn't porcelain, just her feet, hands, and head.

I took her to a local antique store and they offered me $20 as they said she was too new, but didn't know any history. They didn't look her over at all, just took one look and said they were not interested.

I have looked all over and can only find a number carved into the back of her neck, no markings anywhere else.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

This doll more than likely is one of two dolls. The first one is a doll from a kit because of the numbers on the back of the head. But the clothes do not fit the dolls people made from kits. The second would be a doll they sell in gift shops around the world. These dolls come in bulk to stores and they sell them to tourists in the area.

The doll looks like a holiday doll and not one of much value at all. This doll is not from a famous doll maker or even a company who mass-produced dolls. That will make it even harder to identify.

With no markings or brand, makes it hard to identify the maker. The antique store offered a fair price. Online this is the amount of most of the dolls online that look like this! You could try selling yourself at a yard sale or online with action/bid sale!
