Identifying a Seymour Mann Doll?

I'm trying to find out information on a doll I purchased. I know she is a Seymour Mann doll and her number is 183/1200. I want to know is she a character doll or a princess doll? Any info will help I can send picture.

Seymour Mann dolls are mass-produced and lose value. They are worth $25 or less

A picture would help or if you go out to eBay you an type in the search bar Seymour Mann doll 1200 and see if she matches any of the current--or if you then click on the completed tab--completed auctions.

If you find a match to her face (I use face not clothing if you don't know if she has the original outfit or not), you can hopefully learn more about her.

You can also do this same search on Etsy or Google Images to learn more about her lineage.

If you are learning to help value her, be use to only use SOLD auctions on eBay -- not active auctions or completed -- click on the sold tab to the left (at least on my laptop) to find these.

This will tell you what people are currently paying for her and you can use that average to help you set a price for her.

Let me know if I can help you search!

It is almost impossible to research a doll without a name and/or a photo. There are presently over 1,800 Seymour Mann dolls listed on eBay - of course these are all sizes and styles.

  • Your number - 183/1200 only means she is #183 out of a total #1200 made. This does not give any information that is really searchable except for the 1200 and that gives little to search as most doll sellers will not put this information in there one line description.
  • I did add 1200 to the search in description and came up with these listings:
  • You can take a look to see if your doll is among the listings.
  • There have not been any doll in this category sold over the past several months.
  • There are also a big selection of dolls on the Replacement's site so you can check for your doll here also.
  • If you will add a picture or two to your question (or start a new question) then I feel sure someone would be able to help you with locating a same or similar doll.
