I've seen this bug twice in my room and I'm kinda terrified it's some type of mite. Could someone please tell me what it is?

Its hard to tell from the picture. Take it and put in a sealed plastic bag. Bring it to a place that sells pesticides and they can identify it and tell you how to get rid of it.

I agree with taking it to your local garden shop or hardware store. Once you know what it is you can determine the best and safest way to get them to leave and stay away.
Im planning on it but I keep finding them on my phone or laptop so it seems they are either attracted to the light or warmth
