Instant Pot Orange Pork TenderloinThis is my recipe for an Asian-inspired pork tenderloin that you can make in your Instant Pot. Use the cooked juices to make a nice sauce to drizzle over your dish when you're done. This goes great with rice.

I'm curious as to see why one would cook this in a pressure cooker as opposed to a stovetop pan. Pork tenderloin is naturally tender and cooks quickly so how does it benefit from pressure cooking? A pan also allows one to brown the pork for extra flavor. Doesn't it actually take longer in a pressure cooker? For example, you'll need 5-10 mins for it to reach pressure, then cook 7 mins and then wait 7 more minutes to release.

My guess is that it'll take only 15 mins on the stove, including browning. Then there's clean up of the pot (which isn't nonstick), heavy lid and silicone ring. Looks delicious though.

I use a similar recipe on the stove, except that I add some orange zest and chopped onions. And cook time from start to finish is faster since I don't have to pressurize and depressurize (you forgot to add pressurizing time to the time calculations).
