I wanted to know if my dog is a Pit. Several people say he is a mix with Lab, but others say he is just a Pit. I really want to know.

He looks full-blooded to me.
There could be a drop of lab. I'm only saying it because of the width of the head and the puff of the chest. If you're truly curious and need to know, in this case, try an at-home DNA kit.

I also see lab and/or hound in the ear shape and softer lines of the face and sternum. To me the pit or bully breeds have sharper, thicker features.
If you Google breed standards you can see how they describe the lines and structures.
Your vet can look at his teeth, jaws, bone structure and the like and give you a good guestimate.
My friends have done the DNA kits and been very disappointed as most came back as uncertain or inconclusive.

to me the head shape is not quite right, as is the colouring, to be what I would call a 'pitt'. Also the size seems wrong. I can see why folks see Lab in him
