Is This Part Of The Leonardo Collection?

A figurine of a woman with a child standing next to her.Hi. It is not stamped at the bottom. But has the label around the ornament. Where else would it be marked? Thank you

I did not see you had two posts with similar items. So sorry. Yes, I do believe this is part of the same series. Probably from the early 2000s.

It should have a box with the name. If it is like they were in the US, there are a few that are not marked on the piece but have hangtags and boxes that offer proof of identify. I am assuming that those sold elsewhere were the same way.

When I sold these in a retail setting, we encouraged people to save all materials (boxes and hangtags) to help with resale value in the future.

Sadly were were selling these as "investment" pieces and that return on investment never materialized the way were were taught to sell.

The values I quoted you in your other post would be the same for this one--with the caveat that without the box, it would be less.

How tall is this one? Again, height may help me give you a better starting range.

Thanks for sharing!

You are most welcome! In that height and weight range you can start in the middle range of the values I mentioned. I always suggest to take best offer. If you decide to sell online, it is critical that they are double boxed to prevent damage!

I think this African Figurine Ornament Mother and Child is from The Leonardo Collection like this www.worthpoint.com/.../leonardo-african-masai-tribal-278490224

Your figurine is colored, but not as much as the figures from the 2003 Masai Collection www.worthpoint.com/.../leonardo-collection-masai-2003-311122415. Therefore, most likely your figurine is from an earlier collection.

A figurine Leonardo Collection African Masai Mother and Child (a little like yours, brand new in box, still in sealed packaging inside box) approximately 15"/38 cm high was sold for £28.00 picclick.co.uk/Leonardo-Collection-African-Masai...
