My kitchen has custom lights and distressed cabinets. The counters are a dark brown granite. What color should I paint the walls?

I suggest you go with either a neutral wall color or if you feel like being bold and unique you could use a sage green, coral or a complementary shade of yellow.
A pale yellow or green would look great.
I adore dark brown counters with a light chocolate wall, vanilla trim, and warm blue and yellow or blue and pale orange pops in the curtains/tee towels.
