What color should I paint my kitchen walls? We have a dark blue/gray counter top and light wood cabinets and flooring.

I would go with a lighter cream color. I wouldn't want everything to be to dark. At the same time I think dark furniture with white walls look off balance. So no white walls for me. :D
I would go with a light pewter color. I don't know what color your appliances are and this will make a difference. Are they stainless steel? If so, pewter would be nice. If your appliances are white, I would go with a light blue/grey color in the same hue as the counter top only go with the lightest shade.
