We are looking at buying a new house and love the size of the kitchen. We would have to leave the countertops for a little while, but definitely want to brighten things up a bit with paint. We are not liking the dark cabinets and that yellow wall, which if you notice in the picture has a lower paint color of blue that would have go too. I also need ideas for the living room color. I like the grays and beige, but I don't want to be boring. Also, I am thinking about painting the paneling. Any suggestions?

The wall area behind the sink is sort of large to leave a solid color. Maybe paper?

How about a rosey, mauvey beige? Now, imagine this room nicely furnished, accented with two or three large leaved, dark green plants.
(Think Aspidistra and Aglaonema (Chinese Evergreen)).
I declare! Looks as if the ceiling fan was discarded due to a burned out motor. I wouldn't bother to replace it if I were you. They just don't make things like they use to.
