Make Your Own Knife Sheaths

Gold Post Medal for All Time! 677 Posts

Homemade knife sheaths made from cardboard.A good knife is a sharp knife. However, knives can cut you if not stored properly. I make my own knife sheaths out of cardboard. You can use packing materials, cereal boxes or any other cardboard. Cut to size and tape edges shut.

That's a really good idea. I have a few in the drawer without blade covers, and I try to position them so no one gets cut. I'm going to make some. Thanks!

Good idea. You can easily get cut reaching into a drawer for something else. This cover will also protect the sharp blade.

Thats a great idea. We have several small kitchen drawers with very large butcher type knives. A few came with their own knife case, but the others I just put in individual empty paper towel rolls.

Works really well & easy in & out of each knife.
