Popsicle To Cool Down Drink

Gold Post Medal for All Time! 969 Posts

Adding a popsicle to a cola drink to cool it down.Today, I was hot and thirsty. I went into the freezer to get my ice cubes, the ones that don't melt. I remembered I had loaned them to a neighbor. What was a thrifty girl to do?

I poured my soda into a mug, and dropped a cherry popsicle in the center! Within 5 minutes, it melted and left a wonderfully cold and flavorful drink.

I can think of lots of cool combinations. Clear soda with peach or watermelon. Root beer with lemon. Ginger with grape, and so on.
N-JOY!!

Novel...and I bet there's some nice combinations not thought of, yet. I like the 'openmindedness' to try new things. How else would I have found cantaloupe (cubed) freezes well. Now, I can have it Christmas ans New Years.

We have SpellCheck. I'll be glad when they come out with CommaCheck.
