My hair is naturally darkish brown, but I dye my hair a red colour. Now I want to dye it to a silver/grey. How long do I wait between stripping my hair back to its natural colour before doing silver/grey with a home colouring kit as I can't afford to go to a salon as I have a low budget income.

This two step process is usually done the same day.
If your hair is healthy, you may be able to safely do this after four weeks from the last dye. If you hair is brittle or falls out or has a lot of split ends, best to wait 6-8 weeks and as few chemicals on your hair as possible until then.
