I have Mercedes Benz C180. I just discovered of recent that the car is excessively consuming fuel.

Like I said in the other question you asked on here this has to do with an electronic circuit board that is faulty and needs to be diagnosed. Take it to a dealer who has the right computer system that can diagnose these issues.
This is a underlying problem with the electrical system, and is throwing off so many things in your car. Only Mercedes Benz or European shops can accurately diagnose your car!

Your car has to be diagnosed properly for someone to be able to find all of the reasons for the excessive fuel consumption and the problem with dashboard lights.
