McCormick recently discontinued their amazing McCormick Grill Mates Steak Rub. I am hoping someone has a recipe for it. I've played around with it on my own and it's just not the same.

I tried instacart and unfortunately it's not available for delivery. I also went to the 2 stores in my area that the site listed as having it available and they didn't have it in stock.
Basically the site does a bait and switch. You go to the store to pick up the item and they try to give you a substitution instead of calling you or emailing you that they were in fact out of stock. I was upset because we wasted two hours driving around saturday.
Same here!! I miss it SO much!!! We must have been the only ones that loved it!! Everyone would ask how I made my steaks and short ribs so good and the answer was the grill mates steak rub. I can't believe they discontinued it.
You are not the only ones. Love love this stuff. I use the steak rub on my Turkey burgers and they are delicious. I was lucky and found the last 2 jars on the shelf and use it sparingly. I will let you know how my attempts at duplicating it comes out.
Glad to know I'm not the only one who misses this rub as much as my husband and I. I saw 2 jars on Ebay for $40! Was hoping to recreate it but as of yet still no luck!
I miss this too it was my favorite rub and the Montreal doesn't even come close super sad I would love to have a copy cat recipe if anyone comes close
