Removing Dye Transfer from Clothes?

I put my white clothes inside the washing machine with a baby pink sweater and trousers. My white clothes, jeans, shirts, t-shirts, and my bra are a bit pink now. They have a tone of pink. What should I do?

Try the Rit Color Grabber. Hopefully you did not put these clothes in the dryer.

You can try to wash them again with one of the color grabber sheets that you throw in your washing machine. Other than this you can soal the clothes in powdered dishwashing soap and water over night and wash them again with the color grabber sheets in your machine.

I just did this last weekend. I was so mad. I had not seen a white poly blend sweater and a white cotton shirt got mixed into my color laundry load and I had a red velvet jewelry bag that was in that mix. UGH!

The cotton shirt, I soaked for 20 minutes in a bucket with bleach water--1 cup of bleach and enough cold water to cover the shirt, that stain came out totally. (YAY!)

The blend sweater, the bleach mix did nothing. I am on my third treatment of home made oxi (1/2 cup baking soda, 1/2 cup peroxide, 1 cup warm water poured on to the stains). The stains are lighter, but still not out completely. We have not had much sun so I have not been able to leave it to dry in the sun which should help--I am hoping to do treatment 4 this weekend when it is sunny and let it dry flat on a towel in the sun. It is really hard to get stains out of mix blend fabrics. I swear the poly is like a color magnet :(
