Repairing a Singer Presser Foot Shaft?

I have a Singer, model# 30215, and the presser foot shaft keeps rotating in both directions. How can I tighten it so it stays in the right position?

Open the cover of the machine. You will see a screw that tightens the rod. It has probably come loose, so tighten it up.
