Schedule Home Maintenance Using Electronic Calendar

We all have things in our homes that require maintenance. Keep on top of things by scheduling periodic tasks on your phone (or laptop/tablet) electronic calendar. Most have a repeat feature, so setup is easy.

Here is what I schedule, you may have others: descaling my Keurig coffee maker, changing HVAC filters, cleaning out that little drawer on my front load washing machine (not the big drawer on the pedestal, but the one that collects lint), giving my dog his heartworm meds (he needs maintenance too!), changing brushes on my robot vacuum, changing brush on my electric toothbrush, changing filter on my air purifier.

Maintenance of appliances according to manufacturers suggestions keeps them running better, longer and will hopefully keep costly breakdowns to a minimum.
