Using Gluten Free Flour as a Thickener?

January 14, 2018

Can I use gluten free flour to thicken the tomato relish? The brand I have is Woolworths - free from gluten plain flour. It contains maize, tapioca, rice, and thickeners 412, 415, 464, 466.

I dont see why not. Tapioca can be used by itself as a thickening agent.

I have had a lot of success using corn starch for a thickening agent, especially in making gravy.
