Value of a Collector's Choice Porcelain Doll? - angel doll in boxI just bought this beautiful doll from a thrift store and I was

Sadly, dolls are very low value and really have been for several years. Most people are very lucky to even sell their doll and the average price paid for dolls right now is less than $25 but most are even lower and it may take months/years to sell a doll.
This is really for almost any of the 'mass produced dolls' like your Collector's Choice doll and right now, this particular brand - all sizes/all styles - has over 2,000 dolls listed for sale on eBay alone.

You can check eBay for your doll but asking prices are not a value price as only a sold item represents what some one is will to pay for an item.
Check out eBay's sold listings for this brand and you'll see that if you paid $10 for this doll it's possible you overpaid (but I'll bet the thrift store was glad for the purchase).

Enjoy your lovely doll for your own personal 'value' and do not consider other people's 'value' of this doll.

She is very lovely. You can see on the tag she was originally from Walmart, which makes her on the low end spectrum to start. While dolls are having a slight uptick in sales, this brand and especially those with the Walmart notation on the back are selling (if they sell) for under $20.

Depending on her height, if she is 13 inch, they are selling as low as $1-5, the taller dolls sell $5-20. If you list her to sell, be sure to use the term blonde ringlets) and Victorian in the post to maximize the exposure. Post back how your sale goes!

it is a shame that when they first decided to come out with these types of dolls everyone in the world bought them because they all thought they would increase in value but instead they have decreased. My granddaughter has been given a collector Barbie every year since she was born and told to never open the box and to keep it like this. Her other grandmother was sure they would be worth so much money by the time she was ready for college and could sell them off to pay for her college.

That is the same with these types of dolls. Today they are worth 5-15 dollars if you can find anyone who is willing to pay for them online. Most people list them online and hope they will sell for a lot more but this one never happens. I find that if you want to sell this and earn a few dollars from it the best way to do it is at a swapmeet or a yard sale.

Sadly dolls are not bringing in much. There are hundreds online for sale/auction. There are some asking up to $40, and not getting sold. The ones selling are around $10 to $20 . Here is a link on dolls for sale by owners and what there asking prices are. www.etsy.com/search?q=porcelain%20bisue%20dolls
