Value of a Heritage Collection Porcelain Doll?

I have a Heritage doll named "Jessica". It was a gift to my wife from her mother, both of whom are deceased. It is in the original shipping box. What is the estimated value of this doll?

Thank you.

These are mass-produced dolls. Even if never taken out of the box they are not worth more than $25.

You have my sympathy on your losses.

Without a photo or a few more details, it is a challenge to give you an exact value for your specific doll.

I like to give value on exact matches, not similars.

I have a search on eBay with several Jessica dolls from this company. They are all selling for less than $25. The search results tell you what someone paid recently which can help you value yours if she is an exact match to one of these:

www.ebay.com/.../i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=heritage+doll...

Because most modern dolls have such low values, you may want to find someone in the family who would cheris her If you don't have someone interested family who would enjoy it as a keepsake, you may just want to donate her to a women's shelter or toy drive in your loved ones memories.

First of all do a search on "google". And then go on eBay and see if you can find a like doll and see what the price is for sale, also try Craigslist.

There are several dolls in this series named Jessica but it may be one of the dolls recently sold on eBay. I believe there is also a bride doll and maybe even more. Dolls that are mass produced tend to use names over and over because they go by what is selling and Jessica may have been a popular name about the time this doll was purchased.

  • When anyone is not familiar with dolls I think it is a good idea to look on eBay at all of the dolls listed for sale in that series/company so you can get an idea as to what is presently available to anyone even thinking about buying one of the brand name dolls. (If you look at porcelain dolls in general, you will find over 700,000 listed for sale at any given time).
  • Here is what is listed for Heritage Collection at the present time. You can ignore the asking prices as they do not represent any type of value; asking prices are usually what someone would really like to sell their doll for and full time sellers keep relisting their dolls for months and months (years) and still may never sell.
  • If you would like to sell your doll, I would suggest listing it on a local site such as Craigslist as dolls do sell and may be for a little more money (no shipping costs) than other sites.

  • You may wish to consider donating her to a local church for their Christmas parties for underprivileged children or maybe to one of their thrift stores.
  • Better still, if there is a niece or someone who knew your wife that might would like to have her then give that some thought also.
