This dresser is in pristine condition. I am wondering who the manufacturer is, what wood it is, and what price to sell it at. It is very functional and looks great. I'm looking through my photographs to see if that information was taken. The dresser is part of my father's estate, I was planning to put it on Craigslist for $500 and see what happened. Some think that is way too low and others too high. It is a beautiful piece, in great condition and I thought it was a good place to start.

Look in the drawers for an identifying marking. In my area, brown furniture does not sell at all.I think your price is too high, at least where I live.
Yes, the detail on the front is inlay. Dresser knobs are metal with inlay as well.
That confirms to me that you will be best served to sell the piece through a professional dealer/store. I think any other way you will either not fetch enough for it, or it will sit forever because it is not priced at a point that is appropriate for your area!

The dresser is lovely and has some features that lead me to believe it may be valuable in the right setting. The mirror, onion feet, and detail work on the front (is it inlay?), also what look like the brass handles, those are the signs of an older quality piece.
The maker may be difficult to figure out if there are no markings on the back, or the underside or the underside of a drawer, or back wall of drawer well. Some furniture just isn't marked. Also, if there is a chance it was handmade, it wouldn't be marked.
This is why if you try to find comparables it is so hard. Do you know the year of it? Sometimes that is the only thing resellers can figure out. Sometimes it is a span of years.
Now value is hard because it depends on where you are. A piece this detailed in a city where there is a big demand may fetch well over $500 in an auction or shop. In a small town where everyone has one of these up for grabs, much less.
If you are not an experienced seller, I suggest you take have a professional sell it for you and don't attempt Craig's List (too many scammers and flakes). Plus if it is more valuable, most people will not pay that kind of money to someone off the street--they would much rather purchase through a store front.
The other issue with sell it yourself is that the buyer has to be able to get it out of where it is and that is always a huge challenge. When I tried to sell big pieces on my own, I had people come to buy big items in a small car. Nope, that 8 foot book case will NOT fit into your VW bug. Sorry. What were you thinking!?! Yikes!
I am a experienced reseller, but since I had some challenges (see above) I now defer all of my big furniture pieces to a pro with a store front. It just works best!

I would have an auction house or an antique store sell this for me. it is a beautiful piece and listing an item like this on Craigslist is a good idea but also a bad one because not so many people will come to look at this item. In an antique store you have a better opportunity to sell the item for what it is worth and more people can see this item.
