hello! That looks like a 1964 Webcor EP-1450-1 1A record player. This is the closest I could find for you, listed at $100:

Is the model not on it?

I think it is the 1964 EP-1140-1 --someone is selling the schematic on eBay: www.ebay.com/.../352978740152?hash=item522f2c23b8...

Double check that it matches!

It looks like you already have yours listed as Webcor President Portable Suitcase Record Player on eBay at $450? If that is not yours, then you will want to watch the one up and see if it sells at that price.

If it were mine, I would start it as a 7 day auction, at $400 and let the market dictate the value--but that is me...I also would not sell it for other than local pick up...so you are brave if you are shipping it!

I am a long time seller and things I no longer sell electronics or glassware on eBay unless it is for local pick up--and now with COVID, I stopped that.

The shipping is too expensive and too dangerous. Too many people get the item that was tested and perfect and it stops working after being shipped.

That is just me! I get it that selling may be how you make your living...so if you are comfortable, I would love to hear your hints and tips on how you make it work!!

Thanks for sharing this neat piece.

When shipping record players is about taking care of moving parts. If posible Ill remove them and bubble wrap them separate if not Ill use tape. Then everything gets bubble wrap you cant put too much bubble wrap. Then in the box I put cushioning all around the players. So far knock on wood theyve arrive with no complains.

Your player looks nice but is everything in nice working/playing order?
That is the question almost everyone wants to know before they will look at cost or delivery information.

These are costly and difficult to ship and can be damaged during shipping so you might want to add 'local pick up; to your listing.

I would say $100 would be a good starting point and add 'best offer' to see if anyone is interested at any price.
Webcor is not a well known brand and is considered in the mid to lower end of players so it may take a while to sell.
You will need several good pictures as well as dimensions and be sure to show back with clear pictures of the labels and overhead pictures of the player and controls.

If no one shows an interest you can always lower the price.
I would think your player may go better on sites like Facebook Marketplace, offerup or letgo - post on all of these sites.

This is a nice looking unit and looks like it has been well taken care of over the years. The Webcor President record player was not one of the top of the line record player during its lifetime. However, the player is still a good player and people do happen to sell them from time to time. Just keep in mind if you want to sell this on eBay you will need to include the shipping cost to box this up and ship it off to the buyer.

You will also be paying the fees for this when it is sold. A good starting price for this unit would be around $75-125. I would start a bit high and work your way down.

Record players are truly making a come back. This one not only has player but speakers for great stereo sound. This one looks like yours on eBay for $450. If you want to be competitive priced you could lower yours a little. www.ebay.com/.../193672157785?hash=item2d17c29a59....

Yes this one is mine I looked everywhere online and I couldnt find one if this anywhere so I posted here and while I was waiting I came across an antique shop that haves musical instruments and record players as well, so I showed pictures of my webcore and the gentleman was very helpful in guiding me on how much I should sell it for. And if I dont get to sell it on eBay a might just keep it for myself I think is a really cool looking piece and the sound is great ( I just have to convince my wife lol)

It is a very cool piece! I would be want to do it as a 7 day, Sunday to Sunday auction to get some competition and interest going on it.

Sounds like you have a good plan for shipping!! Keep us posted on the sale! Thanks again for sharing!
