What Brand/Make is this Toy?

A small stuffed dog toy.I got this toy dog back in 1998 for my fourth Christmas. The tags where removed and I've been trying to find out more about him but can't find anything that even resembles him.

His eyes were originally brown but due to them get damaged, they were replaced with orange ones.

Thanks!

He looks like Tracker the basset hound from TY (beanie baby).

The eyes are wrong, but you said they are not original.

He is missing the hang tag, but he should have had a body tag.

If not, he may be a knock off of the Tracker beanie.

There was supposedly some "error" of Tracker that some people claimed made him more valuable--but I never substantiated those rumors--so if you see them, take them with a grain of salt unless you see it confirmed with multiple (and I mean 50 or more) that actually sold for a lot.

Beannie babies are ripe for money laundering on eBay so if you see one or two or even five or six that sell for big bucks (like 10,000) and look in the middle to see if 50+ marked flaw or error sold at a more reasonable price of $100-400--that may substantiate that an error version did have some value. I haven't done this, and will try when I get a chance!

You didn't ask about value for yours. Unfortunately in this condition with no tags and not original eyes, his value on the market would be about $1.00 at a yard sale.

The good news for you is if you want to replace him or get more of him, you should not have to pay more than $5-6 on eBay or a buck or 2 at a yard sale!

Thanks for sharing!! Nice memories!

He is in very good condition to be this old.
I thought he might be a Hush Puppy but no - he has a black butt and this is different than TY Tracker.

You do not give his size and that is almost essential when doing research.
I would suggest you post your pictures and information on some of the toy forums and most likely someone will recognize him.
You should also have a full picture of him laying on his back. Information should include the area where the tags were located and also his size.
People on these sites are very good at identifying animals like this but I would suggest posting on more than one. You will have to join the clubs before you can post.
