Can anyone please tell me what mix this little guy is? He was dropped off on my door step. I want to keep him, but I would like to know what type of dog he is. Can someone please help?

Looks like a Dashhound /Chihuahua mix, so adorable !
I think it's basically a "best guess" situation as to the type of dog this is. A vet could give you the likely breeds based on its physical characteristics. It looks like it could be a dachshund and terrier mix with the terrier possibly being a Boston Terrier.
As a pup, it is really hard to tell because of the big paws--that may be very misleading what size he will grow into.
I say this, because my dachshund had GINORMOUS paws and a big head and when we got him we were convinced he was a big breed mix. Now he is all of 15 pounds soaking wet with the GINORMOUS feet and big head (he sort of grew into it). He is defiantly all dachshund otherwise.
Coloring and fur length looks like beagle, maybe shepherd, or American Staffordshire terrier mix. I would go heavy on hound.
The vet can look at what I can't, which is his teeth, jaws, hip and bone structure and general features and give you a good guesstimate.
He is adorable! I hope you have lots of amazing adventures together!
something about this dog (maybe it just is the big paws) makes me think that it will grow to be a big dog, the shape of face and ears (I know all puppies have floppy ears but still) make me think some kind of bloodhound
