This would be an English Bulldog. There are two different types of English bulldogs and they are often confused with the American bulldog. Here is a guide to help you out. I am only seeing the head and not the full body that is why I am saying it is an English bulldog. www.wikihow.com/

I would have your vet weigh in. He looks like an English Bulldog mix. Not quite jowly enough to be a full breed.
Can't tell by the photo the size.
The vet can look at all the things I can't see like his teeth and bone structure.
