What Breed Is My Dog?

What Breed Is My Dog?I've got to get some opinions. What do you think my babygirl Bailey is a mix of? We've heard Chihuahua and some kind of terrier. She was found living in the woods for months starving and suffering with pneumonia.

I see the chihuahua in the ears and face. You have taken very good care of her.

Cute pup! You will need to have a DNA test to determine the exact breed of your dog.
I see a hint of boxer (per the ears). (Here's a pics of a boxer.)

You may have a great point , she appears to look like that mixture. Although a DNA would confirm it , here is a look at others of the same mixture. - www.dreamstime.com/.../chihuahua-terrier-mix-dog.html

I don't see Chihuahua in your pup. I see some resemblance to a Boxita (Boxer/Akita mix)

100% adorable!!

Blessings to you for rescuing Sweet Bailey!

She has a Rhodesian Ridgeback snout. The ears are a little boxer like. The body is lab or beagle like, the coloring is a little like a yellow lab.

You do not provide the age, weight or height of your dog but she looks much too large to have very much Chihuahua, if any.
Her face size appears to have Boxer and another breed; maybe even Rottweiler or pit.

Ask your vet about her breed as he will have the information available for him to give a better judgement.
You can purchase a DNA test kit if this is important to you. The cost usually starts at $65 - thousands but the cheaper one will tell you everything about your dog and also offer advice on her future health. Kits can be purchased online, pet stores and your vet.

Most important for her right now is to be sure she has her shots/vaccinations so she will be protected from outside diseases.
