Rest assure, not bed bugs! The long name for this insect is Armadillidiidae- better known for a short name is Rollie Polies, Pill Bugs, and slaters. Here is more info on this insect - en.wikipedia.org/.../armadillidiidae - www.pestworld.org/.../ - insecticide can fix /or capture release

It looks like a pill bug. Harmless. Vacuum up and dispose. They come in from outside so be sure to get rid of debris around the windows and doors (like dead leaves) and seal up cracks in the foundation.

It looks too big and not the right color or shape to be a bed bug.

If you have found them curled up in a ball and rolling around on your floor they are not bed bugs for sure. They are a rolly polly bug or that is what we called them when we were small. They run around in the garden and when you go to trap one of them they roll up into a ball to protect themselves.

They were fun to play with as a child but horrible to find in a home as an adult. One way to get rid of them is to vacuum them up and dispose of the bag in the trash can or you can lay down some sticky flypaper around the baseboard of your home and trap them like this.

Some kids love to capture these and treat them as a pet but I'm sure you just want to eliminate them.
Pill bugs (rolly pollies) vacuum to remove any you see and then try to caulk/seal any areas around windows, doors, AC and clean any debris from around the outside walls.

Pill bugs like a damp area so try to keep area clean of any dampness.
