My dog's mother is full blooded Chihuahua with short hair. I don't know what her daddy is. She doesn't have short hair like her mother.

Does anyone know what a "smooth hair terrier" is? My little one lived to just beyond 16 years old. I had to have her put to sleep August 8th. I was told by the man who gave her to me that her mother was toy poodle and her father was "smooth hair terrier". Her hair was very soft and sparse, she weighed 6.5lbs. I'll take her! She is adorable! Years ago we had a pure bred long haired Chihuahua and she sure looks like him - but there are several breeds that have some of the same characteristics, even Pomeranians.
