Setting up a chili bar for our son's birthday was a great way to warm up our guests. We offered a number of different kinds with various toppings.
Prepare the chilies in crockpots so that they can be kept warm at the party. Set up a condiments area. Our family often eats chili with tortillas (burrito style) or as chili boats (with Fritos) hence the less traditional toppings listed.
