Wiring on New Dining Room Light Gets Warm?

I just bought a new pendant light for the dining room. I installed it. When I turn it on the wires get warm. Should I be worried?

Yes. If your wires are getting hot, something isn't right. Call an electrician in.

You should be worried. You could have a fire. Dont use the fixture until you have it fixed.
