Smothered Steak

Quick, easy and delicious


  • 1 can of Campbell's Golden Mushroom soup
  • 1 can of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup
  • 1 can of beef gravy
  • Ad

  • Round steak, thickest you can find
  • Morton's Nature's Seasoning


Pour soups and gravy into crock pot. Cut steak into individual servings. Lay steak on soups in the crock pot and sprinkle with Morton's Nature's Seasons. Push steak into the soups.

Cover pot. Turn on low. Cooks all day while you are away. When return home, make mashed potatoes, vegetable and serve. This makes my daughter's favorite gravy. I have to freeze the remaining gravy in individual dishes so she can have it on her mashed potatoes in between preparing the steak.
