I just turned on my newly installed ice maker (Frigidaire Gallery), but there was only a short sound of water entering the unit. Do I have to purge the line or something? The unit is getting power and I did observe the fingers slowly rotating. Curious.

Common sense would tell me that if you hired someone to install it, you should contact them about the problem since it is under a warranty. Now if you did the installation yourself call a professional and ask their opinion of what the problem is.
