Snow Ice Cream

Snow ice cream is a fun recipe to make with the kids. All you needs is clean snow and a few other ingredients. It is sure to become a family tradition that everyone looks forward to!

  • 1 gallon clean snow, or a large bowl (not packed down)
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 cups milk

  1. If you get a lot of snow you can just set a clean bowl outside to catch the snow as it falls. However if snowfall is lighter where you live you can lay out a clean sheet or a large plastic bag to catch snow and then transfer it into your bowl.
  2. Add the sugar and vanilla. Stir to combine and then begin to add your milk a little at a time, continue to stir. Add milk until it reaches the consistency that you like. Serve immediately.

It is better to wait until the second good snow fall before making snow ice cream to let atmosphere contaminates clean out a bit. Also, don't use yellow sow! LOL!
