Gluten-Free Tuna Cakes

These are super easy-to-make gluten-free tuna cakes. There are no grains used here, and the cheese and salsa mixed into the "batter" makes them moist and delicious. I used coconut flour, but others like almond flour work great, as well. If you are not gluten or grain conscious, you can use regular flour.

Steps:

  1. Drain the water from the tuna. Place it in a medium bowl, then add the egg, cheese, coconut flour, and garlic powder.
  2. Mix well until you have a dough, then mix in the salsa.
  3. Use your hands to form into 6 or 7 patties.
  4. Heat some oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add patties and fry for 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Flip and fry 3 to 4 more minutes. Both sides should be golden brown. Serve immediately.
