House Trained Dog Pooping and Peeing Inside?

I have an 18 month old Lab mix. He was doing great, house trained. He still does well during the day, but now at night he is pooping & peeing in the dining room. He goes out before bed, the last time he eats is about 5:00, and he even goes out once during the night, but for some reason he's still going in the house. He's not neutered yet, could this be the problem?

It could be. He could also have a urinary tract infection. Take him to the vet.

Any bowel and bladder change should be run by the vet first to rule out any number of health issues, including food allergies, UTI, etc.

The vet will also want to know if there have been any changes causing stress, as pups are like people and affected by stress.

If the pup gets a clean bill of health, talk to the vet about the best way to retrain for potty time. I have always had success with crate training.

Prayers for your pup and you!
