You didn't say if anything changed so I am assuming nothing changed in the pup's environment. If all is the same, my suggestion is to check with the pup's vet. Change in bowel and bladder habits can be a sign of a health issue.
If the pup gets a clean bill of health, you may want to to talk to the vet about retraining techniques, like maybe crate train again.
