Identifying Insect Eggs?

Identifying Insect Eggs - multiple chambered cluster of eggsI found these eggs on an olive tree leaf in my garden and wonder if they are from a harmful insect or a beneficial insect. There are a few other egg nests like this.

They may be aphids. Spray with an organic insecticidal soap.

I agree they may be aphids eggs on your tree. Normally what I do is take some dish soap and mix it with some water to spray my plants that are infested.

If they have grey centers most likely these are stink bug eggs:

You don't say where you are located, but where I am in Pgh these are everywhere. I am never one to kill things, but this bugs are such an annoyance that I do dispose of them when I find the eggs.

Take an old toothbrush or piece of wood, fill a bucket with hot water and a few drops of any dish soap, scrape the eggs in to the bucket and let them sit. Flush the water when you are done as you don't want the dish soap and dead bugs in your garden.
