Identifying Insect Eggs?

Identifying Insect Eggs - cluster of insect eggs on a piece of salad greens
Anyone know what kind of thing laid these eggs on my "washed and ready to eat" package of salad?

I am experiencing diarrhea.

Take this back to the store immediately and ask for a refund for the food and medical expenses. It could be a number of insects.

You are not the first person to find something in a package of washed and ready to eat salad mix. You need to get this back to the store immediately and make sure they pull all these packages off the shelves. I saw online where one store had small mice sealed in these bags of washed and ready salad mix.

I normally refuse to buy food such as this and would rather go to a farmers market and buy fresh produce. it is a lot safer than to eat food that they seal in bags and sell like this.

Be sure to tell the maker also if it made you ill. They need to know, as well as the store where you purchased it. Sending up lots of healing wishes!!

Post back with an update!

These look like stink bug eggs. Please save the bag if you can (or at least try to remember the name on the package or have someone go to the store and photograph another bag of the same produce) and the store receipt, and notify the FDA at 866-300-4374. Also notify the store with this picture, and as another responder mentioned, demand a refund and damages (I would suggest no less than $100 or cost of the doctor visit, whichever is greater).

Stay hydrated, and if the diarrhea continues more than a few hours, call the doc! Good luck, so sorry this happened to you.
