What I believe you have is a reproduction of an old German doll that was made in 1985. Now which one is the question.

If I may suggest, there is a Facebook group I like when I am stumped. Most likely they can tell you exactly who she is.

The group is called Porcelain doll collector's + accessories buy and sell. You will have to answer questions to join, but they can give you a firm ID.

I am happy to offer tips on valuing and selling if you are going that route. I have been a reseller for years and am happy to share!

Thanks for asking!

I believe she is a reproduction of an earlier German doll.
You can post pictures and ask questions on this forum and they can tell you for sure if that is the case. These are experts when it comes to vintage/antique dolls and know when it is a reproduction.

They only identify dolls and are not into 'value' of a doll.

I have checked the listing for famous doll makers and this doll is not listed in there at all. I do believe the 85 on the back of the head could be the year the company produced this doll. Other than this most dolls in this era were mass-produced and sold as designer dolls because people could not afford to buy the dolls from famous doll makers.

I can not find anything out about the doll maker here or the initials that were used.
