Identifying a Porcelain Doll?

Identifying a Porcelain Doll - baby doll wearing a long white christening style dress and capI have purchased my first porcelain doll whilst thrifting which I know nothing about, except that she has a really beautiful face. The only markings on it say LW 9-93 behind the left ear. I'm assuming it was a kit, but would like to know more.

I feel you are correct when you say the doll is from akit. The marking on the head of the doll is for the mold number used. There are no other marking on the doll and I presume the body is soft or stuffed.

This is a mass produced doll from the 80s therefore probably doesn't have much of a brand as these were not even designed to be keepsakes.
