Identifying a Stuffed Bear?

Identifying a Stuffed Bear - stuffed bear with a dark brown head and lighter tan ears and bodyI've had this stuffed animal since the late 80s or early 90s and am wondering where it came from and if I can buy a second one for my kids. It's about the size of a 6 month old human baby. I thought it might be Gund, but I can't find anything similar in their archives. It has no tag. Any tips appreciated. Google image search has not worked for me.

Neat bear.
I can only suggest you try asking some of the social media sites that have forum for locating and ID-ing things like this.
They are really good at this.

I just love this site called Budsies. All you need to do is send in the stuffed toy or even a photo of the stuffed toy and they can make you a duplicate one. If you are looking for one for your kids try this site to get one made for you that is exactly like the one you have now. www.budsies.com/.../

This looks like a very nice bear. Unfortunately it is not easily recognizable as a particular brand, type, or pedigree.
