I wanted to know what this specific toy is. I know that she is a Gund branded toy and I've had her since childhood, but I have no idea where she specifically came from. I believe she may have been made late in the 90s early 2000s, but I'm not too sure. Last time I found the same dog was in person from a student. I wanted to know the brand so if possible I can purchase another one of her so that in case I lose her, I'll have one just like her.

I see these on eBay fairly often (listed as Gund Puppy or Gund Dog).
The key is to be very clear with the seller that you need to match the model number on the tag.

There were so many stuffed/plush puppies made during this period that it will be difficult to find the exact model. You do not state a size so this makes it more difficult to do research.
I originally thought it might be Muttsy as he was the most popular Gund puppy (of all time probably). Yours does not appear to be Muttsy so in your research you can eliminate Muttsy, 1985, #1362, padded paws.

I really feel like I have the same teddy. Not too sure though because mine is a darker brown. Ive never found anyone with the same teddy before
