I got a dog from someone and was told he was a full blooded Pit. He looks like it to me and everyone else says he's beautiful and says he looks like a Pit. He's almost 4 months old and 23 lbs. Does he look like a Pit to you guys? I know DNA can only tell, but I am just curious though. :)

The dog has all the characteristics of being a Pit Bull. We can only go by looks and the images you supplied to us. He is a nice looking dog and seems so good with your other dog.

Your pup sure looks like pit but full blooded is a lot rarer than most people think/know.
- Your vet should be able to help you with this question but only a DNA test will tell you for sure.
- Puppies change quickly during their first and second years so keep good photos and record their weight and height at 3-4 month intervals. It will be nice to look back and see the changes as they developed.
- The most important thing you should be thinking about is what/when shots and vaccinations your pup needs in his first year.
- Vet visits can be expensive but the first year is the most important year for your pup to see the vet.
