What breed does my baby Reeses look like? The person that gave him to me said he is a long haired Chihuahua. I have posted this question before. Do people think that my Reeses is a pure bred Chihuahua? Reeses is now 7 months old and his hair is growing out.

He does look purebred. A DNA test will tell you the bloodline.
I loved him the first time you posted and still do!! I still think there is some dachshund in him with that snout.

What does your vet think? I love them all...and the more breeds mixed up into those sweet bodies the better because sometimes that weeds out all the bad things that breeds are specific for getting.

He looks mixed to me. I can't pinpoint with what though.
he does have some of the flags that long-haired Chihuahuas have but it is impossible to tell the true mix from pictures.
Many mixed breeds appear to have more of one breed than the other so the predominant breed features will show up.
I had long haired Chihuahuas for over a 40 year period but the only way I knew they were full-blooded was by the parents pedigree (no DNA testing was available at that time).
It seems you really are interested in his blood-line but a DNA would be the only way to know for sure.
The test kits are available at many stores, especially at pet stores as well as on line. The price starts at about $40 and may be all you would need to know for sure.
