Living Room Curtain Color Advice?

I have a gray couch and a green flowered pattern couch in my living room. I have a beige carpet with green and brown and tan pattens and dark green walls. I have a black computer chair and a black computer tower and monitor. I have dark brown doors, the original doors the house came with. I also have a white door in the front of my house.

I have a black printer, and a white heater in my living room. I have a brown computer desk and a wood grain entertainment center that I use to put pictures on and the other part I use to put knick knacks on. I have a huge projection TV it has black on the bottom.Anyway what color curtains should I get to brighten it up? I wanted to get either white or ivory. Do you think they would be good colors? Please let me know asap. I also have a window that goes over the mantle and I have a flowered dark green curtain on there.
