My friend had this stuffed animal as a child. It was a favorite toy, but it is with his family overseas now, so he is hoping to find another. Tags cut off. If anyone could identify it that would be super helpful.

With out the tag it may be difficult to find the manufacturer of your plush animal. It may have been made by Applause or Gund. You can set up an alert on ebay & a plush toy like yours may turn up: www.ebay.com/
If the tag is off, it may be impossible to find out who made it. Stores like Toys R Us had their own labels
Plush toys are very difficult to identify when the brand name is not available, but members of toy forums have a lot of experience and can many times identify toys like this.
