How and when did you get your pet?
I adopted Olivia and her sister, Emmie, in 2008 from Volunteer Service for Animals (VSA) in Naples. Their website is a great way to find your new "best friend"! Bringing two into your home provides them comfort and companionship.
What does your pet like to do for fun?
She loves to watch and talk to the ducks, squirrels, cardinals, bluejays, and sparrows that we feed near the screened-in porch. She is very alert when the naughty iguana strolls by!
Do you have anything else to share about your pet?
We recently lost Olivia's sister, Emmie, to a tumor in her abdomen. Olivia senses the change in daily living as we do. We are spending more time together playing and "talking" to each other.

Sad to hear Olivia lost her sister.
I have an adopted stray (2 years now) that has a tumor and since I have been through this situation before we are trying to make the most of the remaining time we have together.
