Paint Color Advice for Kitchen With Oak Cabinets

I'd like to re-do my kitchen and am really having a hard time figuring out what's going to look right. My kitchen cabinets are a honey oak in color. I was looking at granite countertops that have a black, grey, and white marble kinda look. My house is pretty country. So I was wondering if that countertop would look right and what color would you paint the walls?

I think it will look great. Paint the walls a shade of gray that is in the countertop.

The colors you mentioned could work well in your kitchen. You could use paint colors in a shade of gray or blue-gray. However, if you're wanting to create a warm atmosphere in your kitchen, you might want to go with granite that has veins of caramel or ivory in it.

Neutral paint or a color such as sage would complement your cabinets and countertops.
